PSBJ’s Ashley Stewart highlights McKinley’s notable accolades including his work as the founder and manager of JP Morgan Partners’ Asia Pacific operations, to his transition to education when he co-founded Utah’s Neumont University. Neumont was developed through a collaboration with IBM and Microsoft to target specific issues within the technology talent pipeline.

This is where Northeastern’s Seattle campus steps into play.

“We’re not a spoke, we’re a hub,” Scott McKinley said in an exclusive interview with Stewart.

While Seattle’s technology industry is booming, the state cannot produce enough graduates to meet job needs of Microsoft, Amazon, and others.  The Seattle campus works to lessen the problem with it’s technology focused graduate program.

McKinley will official assume as regional dean starting on April 28. The Fearey Group extends a very warm welcome to the community!
