Fearey, a Pacific Northwest-based, full-service strategic communications agency, announced the appointment of senior design strategist Jesse Rehm as creative director. Rehm will expand Fearey’s in-house branding and design capabilities, offering a continuum of services from conceptualization to graphic design and full strategic brand planning and positioning.

“Expanding our team with a full-time creative director is a reflection of the significant growth happening at Fearey as we continue to build a robust client portfolio throughout the West Coast,” said Aaron Blank, Fearey president and CEO. “Jesse’s expertise in digital design elevates what we can offer in-house and we look forward to bringing her skillset to our current and future clients. Her creative approach and digital design practice thinking will complement the firm’s public relations and public affairs work.”

Rehm is a Seattle native who has spent the last 17 years living throughout the country, garnering experience working on digital brand strategy, loyalty marketing and building creative for clients like Dunkin’, The Home Depot, Verizon and Alaska Airlines. Rehm is an expert at connecting strategy to storytelling and evoking that within her designs. She brings a strong understanding of what brands can do to build customer loyalty and will add her perspective on the importance of a strong message to deeper engage with audiences.

“Creative means something different to every organization and I look forward to helping Fearey’s clients navigate how to enhance their communication efforts through thoughtful and impactful design strategy,” said Rehm.

Fearey also recently expanded its account team with the addition of Account Executive Lucia Gruber. Gruber’s background has focused on driving strategic communications for Fortune 500 companies in consumer industries. She will support Fearey’s health care, nonprofit and issues-based clients.

Chris is at the cusp of what’s next when it comes to the digital world, and we’re thankful for it. When he’s not answering questions about podcast strategy or live streaming events, you can find him pitching media and writing blog posts for clients. His unique background in Washington D.C., both in political affairs and as a Communications Manager for the American Heart Association, provides a point of view that is invaluable to the work we do every day. He has the ability to immerse himself in his clients’ worlds, becoming a subject-matter expert who is genuinely invested in their business.

After work you can often find Chris enjoying a pint at a local microbrewery, trying to jumpstart his adult league hockey career, playing with his dogs, London and Wellington, or traveling around the country for airline miles.
