#FearlessInternship: Meet Natalie Engler

Natalie Engler / June 22, 2018

Natalie EnglerTo say my first day at The Fearey Group was exciting would be an understatement. I am thrilled to be joining the team as the newest production assistant.

My name is Natalie Engler and I recently finished my third year at the University of Oregon in pursuit of a degree in public relations. I am looking forward to expanding my professional skills and gaining experience at The Fearey Group this summer.

I am originally from Los Angeles and when not at school in Oregon, you’ll typically find me laying out by Malibu Beach, shopping at the Topanga mall, spending time with family, or hanging out with my friends at the Calabasas Commons.

Throughout my time at the University of Oregon, I have heavily involved myself with PR programs such as our student-run television network, Duck TV and our student-run public relations firm, Allen Hall Public Relations. Through these experiences, I have learned a lot about the communications industry. More importantly, I have developed lasting relationships with other students whose interests and passions line up with mine.

I love PR agency life and I am eager to get savvy with social media and to develop my knowledge in media relations while interning at The Fearey Group. Plus, who wouldn’t be excited to spend the summer in the beautiful city of Seattle?  My first day was one for the books (or blog in this case). I am definitely ready to ‘fearlessly’ jump into projects! #FearlessInternship

Production Assistant

Natalie is a growing young professional and driven strategic communicator. What started for her as an interest in event planning, quickly flowered into a love for communication, writing and social media. Thus, the public relations industry is where she belonged and needed to be. After finishing her third year at the University of Oregon in pursuit of a public relations degree, she joins The Fearey Group as a summer production assistant.

Natalie comes to us with an array of experience in PR agency life. Past roles include internships at Orsi Public Relations in her hometown of Los Angeles and at Finn Partners in Jerusalem, Israel. She additionally spent the past year as an account executive for the University of Oregon’s student-run PR firm, Allen Hall Public Relations and will start next fall as the agency’s assistant firm director.

In her free time, you can find Natalie spending time with friends, watching her favorite TV shows or cooking up a new recipe.
